Spanning nearly 2,300 years, the Dragon Boat Festival transforms old traditions into an exciting sporting and cultural event, right here on the Charles River.  Arts and crafts demonstration, tasty Asian foods, and FREE admission!  Join us for North America's longest running Dragon Boat Festival!

Cambridge River Festival

Join the Cambridge Arts Council for this one-day celebration of the arts, attracting 200,000 annually.  This FREE event along the banks of the Charles River features jazz, folk, Latin and world music performances, dance, art, demonstrations, family art-making activities and over 100 specialty food purveyors and craftspeople!

Head of the Charles Regatta

Since 1965, rowers have come from far and near to the banks of the Charles River to take part in the world's largest regatta, with more than 8,000 athletes rowing in 56 events. Over 300,000 spectators show up each year to watch the event.

Revels RiverSing

On Sunday, September 19th, Revels celebrates the approaching Automnal Equinox with song at the 7th Annual Revels RiverSing.  Thousands will gather at twilight near the Weeks Footbridge in Cambridge by the Charles River to celebrate the turning of the seasons with familiar, rousing songs for all to sing.
