A Note of Thanks

The public planning process for Hell’s Half Acre has been made possible by the generous support of numerous individuals and organizations. In particular, we wish to acknowledge the William P. Wharton Trust which has donated funds specifically for the Hell’s Half Acre project.

We also wish to extend a warm note of thanks to numerous groups and agencies who have joined in the work.

They include: Metropolitan District Commission, Executive Office of Environmental Affairs -- Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Massachusetts Audubon Society, Cambridge Conservation Commission, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Belmont Hill School, Buckingham, Browne & Nichols School, Cambridge Public Schools, Shady Hill School, Winsor School, Charles River Watershed Association, Watershed Institute, Cambridge Boat Club, Community Rowing, Riverside Boat Club, Mass Bike Coalition, Cambridge Bike Coalition, Cambridge Plant & Garden Club, Friends of Alewife Reservation, Metropolitan Park Council, American Society of Landscape Architects -- Radcliffe Chapter, Global Green, Watertown Citizens for Conservation, Rizzo Associates, Carol Johnson Architects, Wallace Floyd & Associates
