Advocacy
Thanks to all of you who contacted your legislators and urged them to
support important Parklands and Parkways bills, we have good news to report!
During the House Budget deliberations $40,000 was recommended for a Nonantum
Road study and $100,000 was recommended for the completion of Parkways
Guidelines. A bill that calls for the establishment of a committee to
study swimming in the Charles River will be heard this summer - we will
keep you posted on its status.
