CRC President Honored as Boston Upstander!
CRC Founder Renata von Tscharner was recently selected as an
Upstander! by the international citizenship education organization,
Facing History and Ourselves. She was nominated by Katie Coffin,
an employee at EF Education, who wrote in praise of Renata’s
joie de vivre and nothing is impossible attitude—inspiring politicians,
citizens, donors, and skateboarders alike.
On January 30, 2008, Renata will be recognized at an Opening Celebration
of the exhibit Choosing to Participate, held at the Boston Public
Library with Honorary Chair Mayor Thomas M. Menino. To read the
